DAY 1: PICK UP ARUSHA / TRANSFER TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Pick up from your hotel at 0800 hrs and drive to Lake Tarangire National park to arrive in good time for lunch at the lodge/camp. Proceed for afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp. Tarangire National Park, one of the hidden jewels of Tanzania. This park measures 2,600 sq km and boasts a concentration of wildlife second only to Ngorongoro Crater. It features an impressive amount and array of birdlife and plant life.
DAY 2: LEAVE TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK / TRANSFER LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Wake up for an early hot buffet breakfast then proceed to Lake Manyara with game viewing en-route. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge/camp. After lunch head for an afternoon game drive, the beauty of this park is partly due to its large variety of wildlife, grasslands, forests, and water. Lake Manyara has one of the largest populations of waterbirds in Africa at over 400 species, including flamingos and pelicans. Large herds of elephants are also found here, as well as giraffes, hippos, water buffaloes, and impalas. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.
DAY 3: LEAVE LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK / TRANSFER SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After Breakfast, depart the lodge and proceed to Serengeti National Park passing through Olduvai Gorge, the archaeological site of the Leakey family. Serengeti is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park. It is the Migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge, or crocodile infested river can hold them back. The Wildebeest travel through a variety of parks, reserves, and protected areas and through a variety of habitat. All meals and overnight at your lodge/camp inside Serengeti National Park.
DAY 4: LEAVE SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Spend a full day with unlimited game drive exploring at Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti covers an area of about 30,000 km2 in the north of Tanzania and Kenya, 80% of which is located in Tanzania. The park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and thousands of predators fleeing drought in search of freshwater and grass. All meals and overnight at your lodge/camp.
DAY 5: LEAVE SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK / TRANSFER NGORONGORO CRATER
Breakfast at leisure then view the game as you drive to Ngorongoro conservation the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera which inhibits different varieties of wildlife. Arrive in time for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro the lodge/camp
DAY 6: LEAVE NGORONGORO CRATER / TRANSFER ARUSHA
Take your breakfast early in the morning as you making your way into the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is 20km in diameter, 600m high and is the largest intact crater in the world. An estimated 30,000 large mammals live in the crater, which features a salt lake at its center. This is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in the world! The Masai and Hadza people live together in harmony with the animals that also call this place home. From the edge, you will look out over the impressive crater and all of its wonderful inhabitants. In the afternoon we will drive back to Arusha in time for drop off at your Arusha hotel or Kilimanjaro airport to board your flight home.
