DAY 1: NAIROBI - ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK
Pick up hotel/airport and leave for Aberdare National Park to arrive in good time for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a close-range game drive from your balcony at the lodge. The Ark lodge offers high-altitude game viewing, including animals that are rarely encountered elsewhere: giant forest hog, bush pig, tree hyrax, large spotted genet, and the elusive bongo. Wildlife can be observed from the balcony or inside your rooms where you can see, hear and smell nature at its best. You can put in a request to be awakened during the night if your favorite animals show up. A herd of Elephants might be just feet away and if you are lucky, a Leopard or Lion might put in an appearance. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
DAY 2: ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK - LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, leave with a game drive en-route to Lake Nakuru National park to arrive in good time for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, head for a game drive around the Lake: the best time to see the big cats and many heard of buffalos. You will also spot black and white rhino. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
DAY 3: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK - MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast, leave for Masai Mara National Park to arrive in good time for lunch and rest at the lodge. In the afternoon, head for a game drive at the park: famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
DAY 4: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast; leave for a full day game drive carrying packed lunch. Spend the day in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will high chance of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. At extra cost you may visit a local Masai village to see their nomadic lifestyle; the Masai are famous for their bravery, as they have co-existed with the animals over the years. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
DAY 5: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE - NAIROBI
After breakfast; leave for Nairobi to arrive in good time to be dropped at the hotel/airport.
