Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari from Nairobi begins with our representative collecting you from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for transfer to Wilson Airport (domestic terminal). After check-in (please note the mandatory 1-hour pre-flight arrival and 15kg baggage limitation), board your scheduled flight to Masai Mara.

Upon landing at the airstrip, the lodge’s professional driver-guide will welcome you and transfer you to Mara Serena Lodge in a 4×4 safari vehicle. This acclaimed luxury property offers exceptional views across the reserve’s expansive landscapes.

Following lunch and a brief afternoon relaxation period at the lodge, depart for your afternoon game drive at approximately 3:30 PM. Explore the magnificent Mara ecosystem with its abundant wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and if timing permits, possibly witness the dramatic wildebeest migration. Return to the lodge by early evening (around 6:00-6:30 PM) for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Masai Mara to Nairobi

After a leisurely breakfast and check-out procedures, your driver will transfer you to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, our representative will be waiting to transfer you to your Nairobi hotel or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.

Important Notes:

Flight baggage limit is strictly 15kg per person (combined for carry-on and check-in). The airline requires you to pack in soft bags, e.g., duffel bags.
