Ngulia Safari Lodge

Established in 1969, Ngulia Safari Lodge is situated in Tsavo West National Park, renowned for its abundant wildlife population. Accessible from Nairobi (260 km away) via Mtito Andei Gate or from Mombasa (250 km away) through Tsavo River Gate, the lodge offers a captivating location. Perched on the Ndawe Escarpment just below Ngulia Hills, it boasts panoramic views of the Rhino Sanctuary, enveloped by picturesque hills.

Ngulia Safari Lodge offers unparalleled vistas, showcasing some of the most awe-inspiring sights in Kenya. Guided expeditions allow guests to explore remarkable destinations such as Mzima Springs, a thriving oasis inhabited by fish, crocodiles, and hippos, as well as Hippo Point, home to hippos and crocodiles. Other notable attractions include Shetani Caves, Chaimu Lava flows, Kichwa Tembo, and Roaring Rocks, among others.

The lodge features 52 standard rooms, each equipped with a bath, shower, and a balcony overlooking the expansive wilderness and floodlit water holes. Two restaurants are available to guests: the main restaurant, designed in an open-air style, offers panoramic views of the floodlit water holes and the Leopard dining tree. Additionally, the Leopard View Bar opens in the evenings, allowing guests to witness the arrival of leopards from the wilderness while enjoying their meals. As guests dine, they can observe the leopard feasting, witness other animals drinking water and engaging in courtship rituals, and delight in the melodious songs of the birds.
