Day 1: Pick up Nairobi / Transfer Samburu National Reserve
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and depart north to Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch before taking an afternoon game drive to Samburu Game Reserve. This beautiful park is home to rarely found species such as the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx, and blue-necked Somali ostrich beautiful. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Samburu National Reserve
You will spend a full day exploring Samburu reserve and its diverse species of game. The reserve is rich in wildlife with fame for abundance in rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx (Also referred as Samburu Special). The reserve is also popular with a minimum of 900 elephants. Large predators such as the Lion, Leopard, and Cheetah are an important attraction.
Day 3: Leave Samburu National Reserve / Transfer Aberdare National Park
After enjoying your hot buffet breakfast, depart to Aberdare National Park, to arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. Afternoon Game drive to this tropical forest which host many species of animals. The park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffaloes, warthogs, and bush-bucks among others. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker. Visitors can indulge in picnics, trout fishing in the rivers, and camping in the moorlands. Bird viewing is rewarding, with over 250 species of birds in the park, including the Jackson's Francolin, Sparrow hawks, goshawks, eagles, sunbirds, and plovers. Your accommodation balcony which overlooks a floodlit waterhole gives you the opportunity to watch a game in the night.
Day 4: Leave Aberdare National Park / Transfer Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart north of Aberdare Mountains and descend into the Great Rift Valley for Lake Nakuru National Park, one of the world’s well-known bird sanctuaries for birdwatching lovers. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy your lunch freely as you refresh waiting for a wonderful afternoon game drive. At 1530hrs, depart for an afternoon game drive, a wonderful afternoon game viewing and birdwatching until late evening.
Day 5: Leave Lake Nakuru National Park / Transfer Masai Mara National Reserve
This morning you will cross the Great Rift Valley and arrive at Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch followed by afternoon game drive where you will have a chance for exploring the plains and rolling hills for a chance to spot the elephant, black-maned lion, leopard, buffalo, cheetah, and with diverse species of hoofed animals. Overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 6 & 7: Masai Mara National Reserve
The next two days are spent game viewing in Kenya's finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Our morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa's Big Five and other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Masai Mara offers fantastic orange-tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is 1510 km² of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open Savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife. Hot-air balloon trips are an entirely outstanding way of seeing the Savannah plains teeming with wildlife. These Masai Mara balloon trips can be arranged at extra cost.
Day 8: Leave Masai Mara National Reserve / Transfer and drop off Nairobi
This day you will have your hot buffet breakfast, then pack to depart back to Nairobi. You will have an en-route short game drive as you leave the park. Have your final memories on the way with a lunch stop-over. Arrive at Nairobi in time for drop off at your Nairobi hotel or Airport.
