Day 1: Nairobi City

Upon arrival; pick up and transfer to your hotel in the rest. Overnight and rest


Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast; depart for Samburu National Reserve to arrive in good time for lunch and rest. After lunch; leave for an afternoon game drive. Samburu is home to the big five and other unique wildlife species such as Somali Ostrich, Gravy’s Zebra, Oryx, and others.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, you will be picked by a compliant tour guide/driver from the hotel and driven to Samburu National Reserve. Drive north of the Equator to Samburu National Reserve, on the edge of Kenya’s semi-desert lands where you may encounter some of the animals and vegetation that are typical of this region such as the Grevy’s Zebra, the Reticulated Giraffe, and the Somali Ostrich. The best feature of Samburu is not the wildlife of the picturesque surroundings, but the fact that it is one of the lesser-visited regions in Kenya.

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve – Marsabit

Do an early morning game drive, return to your camp for a full buffet breakfast. Thereafter; leave for Marsabit via the singing well of the Boran tribe which is quite a colorful ceremony as they bring their livestock to water. Arrive at your camp/lodge in good time for lunch and rest. Leisure and rest in the afternoon. A walk in the town, the afternoon is recommended to interact with Borana People.

Day 5: Marsabit – Karacha / Chalbi Desert

Do an early morning game drive at Marsabit National Reserve including a stop-over at Lake Paradise which is a Natural water hole in this park which is essentially an oasis. Breakfast; depart for Karacha with lunch en route. Afternoon leisure at the Chalbi desert.

Day 6: Karacha / Chalbi desert – Sibiloi National Reserve / Kobi Fora

After breakfast, depart to Sibiloi National Reserve/Kobi Fora to arrive at your camp in good time for lunch. In the afternoon; Visit the birthplace of our ancestors on the shores of Lake Turkana. Here at Koobi Fora, you will find significant discoveries include relics dating back 3,000,000 years, including Paranthropus boisei and Turkana Boy, to name only two. Other notable finds include dozens of hominid fossils, including Australopithecus Sensu Lato discovered by Dr. Richard Leakey, Homo Habilis discovered by Bernard Ngeves, and one of the most widely renowned finds of all human fossils -- Homo Erectus, the Turkana Boy (aka Nariokotome Boy), discovered by Kamoya Kimeu, a research excavator to Dr. Leakey. Also, you will get a chance to visit the elephant site and also the petrified forest.

Day 7: Sibiloi National Reserve / Kobi Fora – Lake Turkana / Loiyangalani

In the morning after breakfast, leave for Loiyangalani on the shore of Lake Turkana to arrive in good time for lunch at your camp/lodge. Rest for the afternoon at leisure for a well-deserved rest having discovered and learned the history of early human discoveries. A guided walking tour is recommended as you encounter Turkana, Samburu, Borana, and Redille tribe.

Day 8: Lake Turkana / Loiyangalani

A full day at the shores of Lake Turkana during which you can visit the El-Molo tribesman in the village who is said to be the smallest tribe in Africa, at an extra cost. Rest for the day. Caution should be excised near the lake as its waters are crocodile-infested. You will also get a chance to have a boat ride with the Elmoro tribe guide.

Day 9: Lake Turkana / Loiyangalani – Maralal

Breakfast is followed by a drive from Lake Turkana to Maralal arriving at the Game Sanctuary for game viewing or camel riding. On the way, you will see the Samburu people who dominate this harsh environment. The park is home to zebra, eland, hyena, and other animals.

Day 10: Maralal – Sweetwater’s

After breakfast, leave for Sweetwater’s to arrive in good time for lunch and rest at your camp. After Lunch, We visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and the specially protected and fenced refuge of black rhino with its stunning forty specimens! In fact, Sweetwater boasts excellent game viewing with the highest ratio of game to area of any park or reserve in Kenya. Moreover, the camp has its own private waterhole and salt lick so we’ll be guaranteed unprecedented close encounters.

Day 11: Sweetwater’s

Spend the full day exploring sweetwaters is a privately owned conservancy, overlooking the peaks of Mount Kenya. The conservancy has a great number of wildlife including all the big five animals (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and buffalo) among other games. The conservancy also has a special sanctuary that shelters several rare and endangered species including black rhino, Grevy's zebra, Jackson's hartebeest, and Chimpanzees. The Chimpanzee sanctuary is the only one in Kenya. It is a home for orphaned and abused chimpanzees, rehabilitating them to help them learn to live by themselves as in their own habitat.

Day 12: Sweetwater’s – Lake Naivasha

Do an early breakfast; return to your camp for breakfast. Thereafter, leave for Lake Naivasha to arrive in good time for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, you will have an optional Lake Naivasha boat ride with a visit to Crescent Island at an extra cost.

Day 13: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara National Reserve

 After breakfast, leave for Masai Mara National Reserve to arrive in good time for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, leave for game viewing deepen into the Masai plains. After lunch and a short rest, then start your first introduction game drive in the afternoon, tracking the various animal species and birds that inhabit here with your driver guide until sunset.

Day 14: Masai Mara National Reserve

 Your Day starts with breakfast at the camp and by 0800am, leave with picnic lunches in hand for an extensive game drive. The landscape here is scenic savanna grassland on rolling hills. This reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network that allows for close-range viewing and photography. Your game drive will include a visit to the Mara River, which is a point of migration and a place to spot crocodiles and hippopotamuses and break for a picnic. Your game drive will continue till 1700hrs, after which you will get out of the park for two hours of optional activities.

Day 15: Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi

Do an early morning game drive, return to your camp for a full brunch. Thereafter; proceed to Nairobi to arrive in good time for drop off at Airport/Nairobi hotel.
